Born and raised in Santa Clara/San Jose, Auggie grew up with Bay Area values of equality and inclusion. While working as a restaurant manager for Pasta Pomodoro, also known as "gay pasta," Auggie strived to provide a safe and inclusive space for the trans community and all members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community that would come from the Billy DeFrank Center. At Carbon 3D, Auggie co-founded their Pride ERG and strived to bring awareness and visibility to the community. He also connected with the San Mateo Pride Center to partner with education while holding fundraisers within the company to donate to San Mateo Pride.
"As a board member of Pride Social South County, I believe we should never live in fear of being who we are, and I take every opportunity to be out and proud and visible. Representation matters."
